Melbourne-based KVM switch vendor, Raritan, has opened a regional Sydney office to provide more extensive services for its partners and customers.
The new location offers sales and technical services along with channel management support for the NSW, ACT, NT, QLD and New Zealand markets.
It is the second office opened by Raritan locally and will be headed up by regional business manager, Gehan David.
Regional sales director A/NZ, Gary Hull, said the facility would provide an opportunity to enhance Raritan's strength in government, telco, finance and banking market sectors.
It would also encourage a stronger connection with local enterprise customers and enhance partner support and education through hosting more product roadshows and seminars, he said.
"Previously we couldn't focus on regional markets as well as we could have," he said. "I don't think we have explored all of our market opportunities. This will give us the chance to consolidate those markets without losing our focus."
Raritan will also add on a centralised business management solution next month.
Hull said he hoped Raritan's expanded local presence would also open up new market segments, such as the manufacturing industry.
He said the company was also interested in establishing a sales office in Queensland, but had not decided when.
