Coms provider dials into channel program

Melbourne-based voice and data service provider, Australian Communications Consortium (ACC), is developing an indirect channel partner program to extend its dealer arm and break into the SMB space.

Indirect channel manager, Bryan Snowball, said the program would give its partners more services, products, technical and sales support. Dealers would be provided with start-up kit, sales support and access to the company's range of products which include telephone switching systems (PABX and key systems), broadband carriage and hardware solutions, voice and data carriage options along with CTI applications, call centre operation and management products.

Resellers that were looking to merge into the VoIP field and that specialise in telecommunications products were encouraged to participate in the program, he said. The company would also be looking for those working in the SMB sector.

"We are looking for partners that want to migrate to VoIP from the traditional PABX that haven't got access to those products or the expertise," he said. "The idea is to grow our partner's client base and help them reach into other markets through providing them with the right training in the telecommunications sector."

The company wanted to add about 100 partners nationally, Snowball said.
