New programs for Marshal dealers

Integrated email and Internet content security vendor, Marshal, has developed new partner marketing programs.

Recently appointed regional marketing manager, Adele Bernard, said the programs were introduced to help build closer channel relationships. Some of the programs would be based around telemarketing and lead generation.

"As we move more into this region we want to become more alive with our channel partners," she said. "The programs will have a tailored approach to match each partner's expertise. We want to become their in-house marketing presence."

Bernard said a market development fund has been put in place to help partners generate leads and gain more exposure.

Express Data currently distributes the Marshal range. Bernard said she would work together with the distributor to develop business plans and roadshows.

Bernard is also looking to add more enterprise channel partners that play within the integrated email and Internet security sectors.

"We are not into collecting hundreds of partners. We want those that are going to commit technical and sales resources," she said.

Before joining Marshal, Bernard spent three years as Asia Pacific marketing manager for Websense.
