Melbourne-based distributor, Multimedia Technology (MMT), has relocated its Sydney office to larger premises in Orion Road, Lane Cove.
Marketing manager, Mark Eichler, said the Sydney division had outgrown its existing infrastructure and needed a larger office with more desk space and a more centralised location. The new location is closer to Sydney's CBD than its former premises in West Lindfield and larger in size at 200sqm.
Eichler said the move also highlighted the rapid growth it had experienced in Sydney in its four years of operation.
"The Sydney office is by far showing the greatest growth. It's still 40 per cent less than the market in Melbourne, but it's growing exponentially faster than the other offices," Eichler said. The distributor also maintains offices in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.
The new office has room for 20 staff and boardroom and parking facilities. There was also room for MMT to further increase the capacity within the building when it becomes necessary.
Eichler said MMT's Sydney manager, Gordon Taylor, has recently hired new sales staff to accommodate its growing customer base.
