WA-based services provider, ASG, has signed a $2 million contract with the ACT government.
The two-year deal puts ASG in charge of an Oracle Financials re-implementation project for the state government.
Currently, there are 12 separate financial agencies using nine Oracle financial applications systems. ASG will consolidate the applications, which have been managed internally, into one configuration.
ASG Region Manager, Richard Everett, said the services provider had worked with the ACT government a number of times over the past 10 years.
"The key deliverables we are focused on are the consistency of configuration, and lowering the cost of ownership and delivery," Everett said.
The announcement caps a strong growth year for ASG, which also signed contracts with the WA Department of Corrective Services, the Victorian Department of Education and the Victorian Metropolitan Ambulance Service.
Everett said ASG had employed new staff throughout all areas and regions this year to meet growth.
