Entertainment vendor, Creative Labs, has appointed Greg Tolhurst as its A/NZ sales manager.
Tolhurst replaces Nick Angelucci, who has left the company. He previously spent 10 years at Canon, the last five as the sales operation manager of the consumer imaging products group.
Tolhurst said his first point of focus was to look at how Creative Labs positioned its products with retailers and forecast 2008 to be a year of consolidation and focus on retail.
"We want to increase our presence. Consumers don't seem to be aware of our full product range," he said.
Creative Labs' main two distributors in Australia are Achieva and Altech. Tolhurst said there was no plans to change Creative Labs' channel structure.
