National Warranty Services has announced a range of Apple warranties
National Warranty Services (NWS) has expanded its offerings, announcing a range of Apple warranties that cover most of the vendor's hardware line.
NWS general manager, Don Card, said the goal of the initiative was to give resellers an alternative to an Apple warranty.
“The feedback we'd been getting from resellers was that they were looking for an alternative,” Card said.
“We specialise in IT services, and are not looking to move away from that, but we are looking to broaden the range of warranties we offer.”
The service provider is also looking to offer warranties for mobile electronics hardware, such as PDAs and GPS products.
Card said some of the key differentiators to Apple's warranty offering were NWS’ same day-next day response time, and claimed it was also offering a lower price.
