Fujitsu has won a new three-year contract with the Western Australian Police worth $15 million.
The contract will see the integrator provide program, project and change management as well as business analysis services to the WA Police. The deal has an additional two extension options and was won through a competitive tender process.
In a statement, Fujitsu WA state manager, Robert Lislois, said the integrator was pleased to have the opportunity to expand the long-standing relationship.
“We are delighted that WA Police continue to recognise the value Fujitsu can deliver through our capacity, capability and experience of working with the WA Police for many years,” Lislois stated.
In a release, WA Police assistant superintendent, Bill Leonard, said the WA Police considered Fujitsu’s ability to scale up or down on demand a critical component of the integrator’s win.
“Fujitsu once again proved through the rigorous tender process their ability and capacity to deliver against WA Police’s demanding requirements,” Leonard said in the release.
