Niche telecommunication distributor, NetOpt, has joined forces with US-based Mushroom Networks, to bring broadband bonding products to Australia.
Broadband bonding allows for to aggregation of multiple DSL, cable or E1 modems for more bandwidth.
NetOpt will be distributing the products to integrators, resellers, ISPs and managed service provider partners in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
“We had evaluated couple of broadband bonding solutions and vendors, but Mushroom Networks products are the only solution that does true bonding of individual circuits and not just load balancing like other products do,” NetOpt representative, Rick Nand said in a statement. “Its unique and patent-pending approach to bonding circuits to form virtual leased line can now be implemented by the SME sector as well as corporate.”
According to Mushroom Networks, NetOpt was chosen as a distributor for its deep understanding of local clients.
