New Zealand-based network provider, Endace, is on the hunt for resellers and more staff as it builds up its Australian operation.
The networking provider is listed on London stock exchange and has built a customer base in North America and Europe.
“Up to most recently, we haven’t focused or penetrated Australia because the problems we were solving five or six years ago only existed in critical fast networks that were overseas,” Endace APAC sales director, Neil Templeman, said.
A couple of months ago, the vendor struck up its first channel partner relationship in Melbourne with NewGen Systems.
Templeman said it was in the process of building up its staff count in Australia and was keen on establishing more relationships with resellers and system integrators that focus on telco, government and financial services markets.
“We’re starting off quite small because we were an organisation that was selling directly for 10 years, but we’re now making a commitment to the channel,” he said. “We’ve got some mature government relationships in Canberra and financial institutions also use our technology.”
Locally, the company is looking to hire a sales engineer as well as a sales leader to head up its activity based in Sydney, who will also focus on its Canberra relationships.
It is also looking for sales staff in Melbourne and already has a technical sales engineer.
Globally, the company has about 160 staff with 80 of them residing in New Zealand.
“As our channel relationships develop and mature, we’ll be bringing in a whole set of resources to manage and grow that channel activity,” he said.
