Solutions designed for medium-sized businesses

Business software vendor, Sage, has launched its ERP X3 Australian industry solutions program and ERP gap analysis checklist.

The industry solutions program enables the company to further develop its Sage ERP X3 solutions aimed at the process and discrete manufacturing, services and distribution sectors.

By collaborating with its partners, Sage aims to provide customers with the standard business functions of Sage ERP X3 supported by the addition of integrated processes that meet industry-specific standards.

Company partners will be offered additional revenue opportunities by drawing on their industry experience, expertise, assets and Sage’s expertise at a global level.

They will define the ERP industry solutions through advisory board participation and co-development opportunities.

The Sage ERP X3 industry solutions also allows customers to save implementation of business process time, reduce overall implementation costs and provides them with a secure, scalable and customisable business platform for customer-specific functionality requirements.

Sage Business Solutions managing director, Mike Lorge, said, “Sage ERP X3 industry solutions will provide a platform based on best practice and pre-configured business functions with specific industry methodology and scenarios.”

The solution program is available in Australia and partners can enrol at www.sageerpx3.com/ISP.

The ERP gap analysis checklist helps companies maximise business opportunities in the new financial year.

According to Sage, many medium-sized businesses need to continually monitor and assess work processes and IT solutions to ensure they meet business objectives without hindering productivity, profitability and growth.

These can include: meeting regulatory requirements, streamlining operations to advance productivity and profitability, improving decision-making capabilities, enhancing business partner collaboration, adapting and scaling the business and advancing business globally.

“It can be performed either by management internally or by hiring an ERP consultant to perform an in-depth evaluation of current workplace systems and IT solutions and their effectiveness in meeting the company’s strategic goals,” Lorge said.
