Express Online, following the acquisition of Simms International, has set up a formal business unit for Sims enterprise partner, Huawei.
The unit consists of Sydney and Auckland-based BDMs as well as a technical sales consultant, also based in Auckland. Express Online will add additional support resources and a Huawei sales engineer to be based in Sydney.
Huawei appointed Simms International back in June. Since then it has added further local resources to support the vendor’s enterprise ambitions in the market. Its enterprise channels team is to be led by general manager Gavin Milton-White, and John Hill will look after the New Zealand market.
The unit will be headed up by Express Online ANZ business manager, Vaughan Nankivell. Nankivell was previously general manager – corporate and enterprise at Express Online, and based in Auckland. He has 25 years of experience in IT and telecommunications, and has also held prominent roles with Kingston Technologies.
In a statement, Express Online CEO, Danny Moore, said “Vaughan brings a wealth of experience to this new role and we are delighted to have him drive the Huawei Enterprise business team at Exol.”
