Wunderkit offers collaborative project management on Mac, iOS

Wunderkit lets users work and plan projects collaboratively, first by creating a digital "workspace".

Wunderkit—a collaborative getting-things-done Web-based application for Mac and iOS—has emerged from beta testing and is available to the public.

The service from Berlin-based 6Wunderkinder debuted Tuesday. It lets users work and plan projects collaboratively—first by creating a digital “workspace,” to which they can invite co-workers via Facebook or Twitter. After that, collaborators within the workspace can create a task list, share notes and ideas, and use a dashboard to track the team’s progress toward completing the goal. (See the video below for an official Wunderkit walkthrough.)

Wunderkit offers a free version of its service, which allows users to create as many workspaces as they choose—ad-free—and full access to each of those workspaces. There is also a $5-a-month “pro” version that allows users unlimited access to workspaces they did not create (but to which they have been invited), as well as priority support services from the developer.

Wunderkit’s free Mac app—compatible with computers running Mac OS X Snow Leopard—is available through the service's website, but not through the Mac App Store. The company’s iPhone app is free, and compatible with devices running iOS 4.0 or later.
