Broadreach updates video network operations centre

Adds new Advanced Monitoring Service platform

IP video vendor, Broadreach Services, has launched a new generation Active System Monitoring (ASM) service for its video network operations centre (VNOC).

The updated platform allows the company to manage all aspects of video application service delivery to device level, as well as network to the datacentre and the Cloud.

According to Broadreach, the new VNOC capabilities complement the existing portfolio of services by allowing for a single platform and interface to manage all customers.

It offers service providers and enterprise with an integrated and comprehensive IT monitoring and management system. It is based on an open ITIL compliant architecture and delivers client portals and dashboards with third party devices and systems.

The upgrade enables Broadreach VNOC to synchronously and asynchronously monitor the performance of video conferencing devices, while aiming to enhance availability of IT video and collaboration infrastructure.

Broadreach CEO, Shaun Wormald, said the ability to add higher levels of service for customers differentiates its managed service offerings in a competitive landscape and these were key factors to its investment in the new platform.

“We are finding that the remote real time active monitoring service sells itself and we are now able to identify potential problems and deliver solutions before our clients are often aware,” he said.
