Samsung releases Galaxy S4 teaser video

Samsung releases Galaxy S4 teaser video

Samsung Galaxy S4 to use plastic build but new features

Samsung has launched the first teaser video for its Galaxy S4 smartphone.

We're just over a week away from the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch event in New York and the firm has released a teaser video for the smartphone. The trailer is titled 'Be ready 4 the next Galaxy' and features Jeremy, the secret messenger of Samsung Unpacked 2013. See also: Samsung Galaxy S4 release date, specs and rumours

Unfortunately, the video contains no new info on the Galaxy S4 or even the tiniest glimpse of the new handset. Essentially a small boy is given the huge job of keeping the Galaxy S4 secret until the launch on 14 March in New York's Times Square.

There's only one phone on show during the short clip but it's too small to see what it is. It's likely to just be a Galaxy Note 2 phablet. Jeremy's driver says: "I know this is going to be one of the most amazing products to hit the market since TVs went colour."

That's really all there is to say about the video but in other news, the Galaxy S4 will reportedly use the same plastic build as the Galaxy S3, according to Mobile Review.

Eldar Murtazin, who tweeted the launch date of the Galaxy S4 before it was announced by Samsung has seen the handset behind closed doors at MWC last week.

He said of the Galaxy S4, which is in production: "The year before that we were shown how to Galaxy S3, was heavily modified and transformed, this year it is not so."

However, he added that it is: "Solid, high-quality, functional, and expected with a couple of interesting pieces." and "will become the best-selling smartphone from Samsung in the history of the company."
