Virtualisation and Cloud infrastructure solutions provider, VMware, has hired Carly Rogowski to take charge of its Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) marketing as director.
She replaces Peter Di Pietrantonio who left the company in October to lead Google's Asia-Pacific (APAC) enterprise marketing.
Rogowski is tasked with driving the overall strategic marketing plan to deliver aggressive market growth for VMware.
She has responsibility for all marketing in the region, and will work to lead, build, and manage the entire marketing operation. This includes alliance, channel, Web, and customer marketing, demand generation, and marketing communications and operations.
Rogowski joins VMware from Transport for New South Wales (NSW) where she was brands and campaigns principle manager for six months.
Prior to that, she spent over three years with Logica in marketing and services. In her career of 20 years, she has also worked for Ernst and Young, IBM, and Dell.
Rogowski has experience in developing and executing strategic plans and has managed both direct reports and product marketing teams.
