VMware has honoured its top performing partners with accolades at its recent Partner Exchange conference in Sydney.
The overall 2013 VMware A/NZ partner of the year award was presented to Dimension Data New Zealand, which Fujitsu and Thomas Duryea Consulting were also nominated for.
Thomas Duryea Consulting nabbed the VMware A/NZ Cloud infrastructure partner of the year award, over other finalists – Fujitsu and Insight.
Telstra won the VMware A/NZ Cloud service provider partner of the year category, where Bluefire and ZettaGrid were also nominated in.
Dell received the VMware A/NZ end user computing partner of the year. Other nominees for this category were VCPro and Thomas Duryea Consulting.
The 2013 VMware A/NZ rising star award was presented to Qirx.
VMware also recently awarded its top performing global partners.
Ingram Micro was named VMware global distribution partner of the year; Datacom the VMware Asia-Pacific and Japan service provider partner of the year; and Accenture the VMware Asia-Pacific and Japan consulting and integration partner of the year.
