Solutions provider, Datacom, has joined QlikTech’s list of authorised resellers in A/NZ.
QlikTech is a provider of business intelligence software.
The partnership will give Datacom’s customers access to QlikTech’s QlikView solutions.
Datacom Systems ACT Director, Lisa Thorburn, said the partnership is about meeting the growing demand for business intelligence (BI) tools locally.
“Business intelligence and analytic demand has dramatically increased over recent times,” she said. “As a result, we investigated potential partners who could meet our key criteria and price points and provide our clients with the best possible solution.”
Datacom decided on QlikTech after the vendor met all of the requirements, such as the user experience offered by its QlikView product.
In the wake of the partnership announcement, Thorburn said that QlikView has already been delivered to a Canberra-based client, Grains Research Development Council.
Growing expectations
QlikTech A/NZ regional director, Mark Sands, said the partnership with Datacom is response to growth in business intelligence in the Australian market.
