HTC's One Max phablet has been leaked again, this time with a fingerprint scanner on board.
We saw no sign of the rumoured HTC One Max smartphone at IFA but the device has been shown online in photos. The leak, via Android Community, gives us the best glimpse of the One Max yet and it's complete with a fingerprint scanner to rival the iPhone 5S.
The HTC One Max, codenamed the T6, has been rumoured for a while with an alleged 5.9 in screen. That would put it in competition with other phablet sized smartphones including the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra.
A previous rumour suggested that the HTC One Max would be powered by a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 GB of RAM but the generally accurate evleaks says otherwise.
"Contrary to prior reports, HTC One max is powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 (4 x 1.7GHz)." Tweeted the leaker.
Other specifications include 16 GB of internal storage, an Ultrapixel rear camera, a 2.1 Mp front camera and unlike other HTC One phones, a microSD card slot.
An HTC One-style tablet has also been spotted but it's unclear when this, along with the HTC One Max, will be unveiled by HTC.
The firm has plenty of competition from rivals including LG with its G2 and Apple with its iPhone 5S.
