IT and telecommunications distributor, ICT123, has inked a new partnership to bring cloud-based business presentation company, Brainshark, into the Asia Pacific region.
It will take on the suite of Brainshark products, including its SlideShark Team Edition, which is a business version of its SlideShark app.
It allows users to view and show powerpoint presentations from iOS devices as well as distributing, tracking and managing presentations in the cloud.
The partnership will help expand Brainshark’s reach across Asia Pacific
ICT123 CEO, Ben O’Leary, said it was on the look out for ways to help companies improve their mobile communications.
“Brainshark complements our existing services and helps us add more value to mobile offerings in a way that our resellers and end customers benefit from,” O’Leary said. “We offer both Apple and Microsoft products, and being able to bridge the PowerPoint-on-iPad gap has met an important customer need.”
O'Leary said it began using Brainshark firstly as a customer before realising its potential as a new vendor in its portfolio.
"We've had customers use it for their sales force, marketing and training," he said.
In preparation for launching Brainshark’s products to its reseller network, ICT123 worked with a number of customers such as TV broadcaster, Nine Network, which recently purchased SlideShark Team Edition.
“Our sales team is equipped with iPads, yet we’ve always relied on PowerPoint to build presentations. So we were facing a big challenge: How could staff use their iPads to deliver presentations to advertisers, without having to rebuild all the content for iOS?,” Nine Network group sales operations manager, Warwick Sharp, said. “Not only can reps show PowerPoint presentations, professionally and intact, from their iPads, but our organisation can also distribute decks and make sure – as we constantly update and perfect our pitches – that everyone has instant, intuitive access to the most current copies.”
O'Leary said it was looking to add more vendors to its portfolio.
"We're looking for other vendors that will complement existing products in our portfolio. Our goal is focused on the productivity of SMEs and helping them move to the cloud as well as providing solutions through our dealer network," he said.
