Google Apps is set to become a 'critical' component of IT service provider Kiandra's business after it joined the internet search giant's reseller program.
According to a company statement, it is hoped the agreement will allow Kiandra to focus on providing reliable, dynamic and compelling business productivity solutions to the mid-market and enterprise space via Google Apps for business.
Kiandra IT director technology infrastructure, Chris Munro, said the move would complement Kiandra’s portfolio and expand on its existing Cloud offering.
“Organisations are under more pressure than ever to reduce the cost and complexity of IT while significantly increasing productivity for end users,” he said.
“Software-as-a-Service is continuing to gain trust as a solid alternative for business productivity deployments across the enterprise, and we expect to see this continue to accelerate.”
Munro said the offering would form a critical component of our business moving forward.
“We are already working on some exciting Google Apps opportunities and look forward to leveraging the platform to achieve reduced costs, increased efficiencies, and improved collaboration for businesses,” he said.
“Kiandra expects a number of new and existing clients to be drawn to the new offering which combines all the attractive elements of cloud-based messaging and collaboration services with Kiandra’s strong IT management, service and support skills, and outstanding technical capability.”
