ESET launches latest version of ESET Secure Authentication

Announces at CeBIT

ESET has announced availability of the newest version of ESET Secure Authentication in Australia at CeBIT in Sydney.

The software was originally only available in selected markets. The security solutions provider said its updated two-factor authentication (2FA) application provides the combination of secure access to online applications while introducing ease of installation and support.

ESET said the added integration flexibility provided by the software development kit (SDK) and API extends protection to a wider range of applications and data.

The first version of the programme was released in 2013. ESET said the associated loss or theft of sensitive data, subsequent brand erosion and revenue impact can be quite devastating. Adding secure validation to weak and static user passwords and unsecured remote access makes businesses of all sizes dramatically less of a potential target for cyber criminals.

ESET APAC sales director, Parvinder Walia, said the company was delighted to bring the latest version of the software to Australia.

“This updated version features better than ever flexibility and deeper integration of 2FA into bespoke applications, perfect for SMBs with own storage and management infrastructure. We will be showcasing this truly cost effective, reliable 2FA solution at CeBIT Australia 2014,” he said.

ESET Secure Authentication is available now with pricing available on application to ESET. The firm is currently holding product demonstrations of the application in zone 4, stand C18 at CeBIT Australia in Sydney Olympic Park.
