Transport technology company Eroad and Queensland-based provider of cold chain solutions for data recording and online transport monitoring, Euroscan Asia Pacific have formed an alliance.
By the terms of the partnership the companies will bundle their combined technologies to offer dry and refrigerated goods transport sectors a single reporting solution for tracking and monitoring machinery performance and cold chain goods integrity.
According to the firms, clients adopting the bundle will be able to make accurate asset deployment and management decisions through one integrated online reporting platform.
Euroscan Asia Pacific will also become a dealer for Eroad in Australia, while Eroad will become a network partner for Euroscan in NZ as part of the agreement.
Steven Newman, Eroad CEO, said, “Most of the larger New Zealand operators transport chilled goods at some stage. There are increasing end-customer requirements for cold chain monitoring and management and with this alliance and bundling of Euroscan’s solutions, Eroad can help our customers meet the HACCP (Hazard Access and Critical Control Point) compliance standards contained in the proposed new NZ Food Act.”
Eroad currently provides electronic road user charging and commercial services to customers in New Zealand and Oregon, and offers a telematics solution in Australia.
Euroscan Asia Pacific is part of the Euroscan Group, which specialises in the delivery of hardware and telematic solutions.
