Mobility specialist Good Technology has appointed former CA Technologies exec David Balazsy as Asia Pacific vice president.
Based in Melbourne, Balazsy will lead the management of Good Technology’s business in the region, as well as drive the company’s overall growth in the market, focusing on innovation and building strategic relationships, according to a company statement.
Balazsy joined the company in 2013 as strategic account manager.
During his time with the company, he has built stronger relationships with A/NZ customers and channel partners.
He spent six years at CA Technologies managing the Security, Service Assurance and Application Delivery Optimisation business units.
He has also worked in several senior leadership roles during his career, including managing director of Serena Software and VP sales at Marqui.
Good Technology senior vice president of Global Field Operations, Bruce Pagliuca, said the IT landscape today was shifting with the explosion of connected devices.
“Given David’s deep understanding and experience in the technology industry across the APAC region, he’s an ideal fit to support and drive the business forward.”
Balazsy said he was thrilled to lead Asia-Pacific at such an exciting time, when mobility was front of mind for almost every organisation.

In Australia and New Zealand, Good Technology’s customers include Bank of New Zealand, Bank of Queensland, Bupa, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, the Department of the Environment, CUA, and Slater & Gordon.
