Envisian’s current directors are set to acquire reseller Digiworld.
The solutions integrator and Flexpod partner said the acquisition will take effect on August 25.
Digiworld is a hardware, accessories, networking and business software reseller. The firm will continue to trade under its own name after the acquisition takes effect.
Digiworld outgoing managing director, Tony Moussa, said “I have every measure of confidence in Digiworld moving forward with Envisian, and exposing its loyal customers to a new benchmark of IT services and solutions.”
Envisian representatives and Digiworld executives will meet over the next few months to facilitate an effective handover of operations and assure customers of ongoing support.
Envisian chief technology officer, Ian Pearce, said the firm was excited to continue to supply Digiworld customers and to extend the offer of Envisian’s IT consulting, infrastructure and managed services as well as its range of Cloud and other technology solutions, to those businesses.
“This is a productive integration of two companies where there is no overlap in terms of what we do and what we offer. It means we can enrich support to our Envisian clientele as well, by incorporating laptops, desktops, servers, networking and accessories into the integrated technology solutions we recommend and implement.”
Following the acquisition, which was described as a positive business arrangement for both parties involved, Moussa will be taking a break after 19 years running Digiworld. He said he will then move on to other business interests.
