Fujitsu has extended its partnership with Distribution Central (DC) in Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) through the addition of its Eternus storage platform to the distributor’s contract.
The parties’ existing agreement includes Fujitsu’s Primergy server range. While Primergy supports DC’s Products-on-Demand (PODs), Eternus allows the distributor to deliver a larger set of pre-defined and reference architecture solutions, and subsequently make more PODs available.
Eternus will be supplied through Fusion Systems, DC’s specialist datacentre solutions arm.
“The opportunity and market demand for converged data solutions has been growing and our partnership with Fujitsu enhances our ability to deliver solutions that address this opportunity,” DC managing director, Nick Verykios, said.
“DC has been enabling its partners through our pre-defined and reference architecture multi-vendor solutions delivered through DC PODfactory and DC CloudSelect, but it made sense for us to include ETERNUS so that our partners can deploy the entire solution through DC.
“In particular, ETERNUS addresses the reseller demand for the physical aspects of our DC PODfactory go-to-market strategy.”
