Symantec has released the latest version of its Talkworks voice and fax messaging software for small business and home users.
Called Talkworks PRO 2.0, the range of messaging tools offers a variety of new and improved features according to Leigh Costin, Symantec's product marketing manager. "Small businesses are always looking for ways to improve their ability to communicate effectively with their customers," she said.
Chief selling points for the product include; pre-recorded and customisable greetings for incoming calls, mailboxes to organise incoming messages, message notification and logging and full integration with Symantec's ACT! 4.0 contact manager.
Talkworks PRO 2.0 will have a recommended retail price of $269, with upgrades available from $69. Symantec's products are distributed in Australia by Tech Pacific, Express Data and Dataflow.
