Lenovo adds Officeworks to its list of channel partnerships
Lenovo has partnered with Australian retailer, Officeworks, to bring a range of its computing devices to consumers, micro-businesses, and SMB markets. As per the terms of the deal, selected Lenovo notebooks, tablets, and desktops will be made available at more than 154 Officeworks stores across Australia.
It also includes the sale of these products on its online store.
According to Lenovo, this new partnership with Officeworks enables the company to expand its retail footprint through a limited distribution strategy.
“Officeworks attracts a very unique type of shopper across broad market segments, which is a great fit for our brand as we are currently expanding our product portfolio which will appeal to a diverse range of customers,” Lenovo A/NZ consumer director, Brendan Lau, said.
He claimed the deal is a natural extension of its launch into the Australian consumer market with Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi late last year.
Lau said Lenovo was committed to providing solutions that aim to satisfy the needs of customers and offer technologies suitable for work and play.
Officeworks head of technology, Toby Watson, said the partnership was a natural fit for the company as there was a synergy between Lenovo and Officeworks in their focus to provide Australians with products and solutions to benefit their business, study endeavors or at home.
“We’re thrilled to be featuring Lenovo’s new range of notebooks, desktops and tablets in our stores and online, embarking on what we hope will be a long and successful partnership to continue to bring our customers the latest and greatest technology,” he said.
