Brisbane-based systems integrator, Comlinx, has reaped early sales from its A10 Networks partnership around load-balancing and security technology.
Comlinx focuses on delivering communications solutions to the enterprise and government sectors nationwide, helping to meet its contact centre, unified communications, mobility and data networking needs.
A10 Networks’ ANZ managing director, Greg Barnes, said the company's confidence in securing Comlinx as a partner, for its deep technical expertise and innovative focus on meeting customers’ business and technology needs, had been validated by early success in the marketplace.
"Comlinx’s strong focus on security is an ideal fit for the A10 Thunder range of application delivery controllers [ADCs] with load-balancing, DDoS and DMZ security capabilities.”
All A10 appliances are built on the company’s Advanced Core Operating System [ACOS], which features security feature sets.
However, A10’s portfolio range includes a specific security product: Thunder Threat Protection System [TPS].
The TPS appliance helps organisations to scale, improve efficiency and enhance the security posture of their DMZ security infrastructure.
Comlinx director and co-founder, Wayne Shaw, said instead of seeing security as a limiting factor, he viewed it as an enabler.
"A10’s TPS solution and DDoS capabilities close a gap in our security portfolio," he said. "Our customers have responded quickly and positively to these new and agile solutions.
