Violin and Sapply strike A/NZ distribution deal

Sapply to provide the channel with Violin Memory’s all flash array storage solutions

Flash storage vendor, Violin Memory, has signed a distribution agreement with Sapply in Australia and New Zealand.

The deal will allow Sapply to provide the channel with Violin Memory’s all flash array storage solutions.

Headquartered in Australia, Sapply is an enterprise focused IT distribution company established specifically to meet the emerging demand for enterprise wide IT solutions.

Violin Memory will tap into Sapply's distribution network comprising global PC manufacturers, system integrators and niche vertical resellers who help customers find the right technology solutions in the virtualisation, cloud, infrastructure and network spaces.

In addition, these channel partners will benefit from Violin Memory’s newly launched global partner program, which provides targeted product support, services and tools.

Violin Memory country manager, Michael Burnie, said the partnership reflected a strategic stride forward for Violin as its flash arrays continued to gain market share in ANZ.

“Sapply regularly helps its clients outperform the markets they serve by offering a diverse range of services," he said.

"Our proven technology is an ideal fit for their commitment to client satisfaction and we are confident that Sapply is wholly dedicated to helping grow our business, making them the ideal distribution partner for us in ANZ.”

Sapply director, Gordon Taylor, said Violin Memory was highly complementary to its existing solutions portfolio.

"They offer unique flash storage capabilities that strike a balance between performance, reliability and affordability that, today, cannot be found elsewhere," he said.

"The demand for flash storage in A/NZ is growing rapidly and our goal is to provide our customers with a one-stop shop to meet their data storage needs from the ground up.”
