Intelligent document recognition and mobile scanning peripherals company, IRIS, has signed a national distribution agreement with its new Australian partner, Anyware Corporation. The company, which is also a member of the Canon Group, made the move to increase its presence in the local region.
As per the agreement, the distributor of computer accessory products will sell IRIS’ products and solutions for both Windows and Mac platforms, including these mobile scanners: single sheet fed mobile scanners, all-in-one scanner and mouse, multiple sheet fed mobile scanners, pen scanners (digital highlighters), and business card scanners.
IRIS worldwide sales director, Bernard de Fabribeckers, said the addition of Anyware Corporation as its distributor is important to the company’s distribution structure and to boost its sales presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
“In order to accommodate the growing interest in IRIS’ products in Australia we have decided to enlarge our presence on this fast-moving market. Selecting the right distributor was a critical aspect of this decision.
“With Anyware Corporation as our national distributor, we have found experienced and ambitious partners that will help us attract technically sophisticated private and professional users and thus successfully pursue our growth strategy,” he said.
“We are excited to be able to offer this new technology and expect the IRIS range of products to appeal to our strong B2B customer base,” Anyware managing director, Garrison Huang, said.
