ASX-listed Wi-Fi software company, Tomizone (ASX: TOM), has appointed Illinois-based network solutions company, High Wire Networks, as its primary installation and service delivery partner in North America.
Tomizone chief executive, Steve Simms, said the the partnership will grow its position as a Cloud-based Wi-Fi software solution and can leverage High Wire's large customer base of systems integrators and value added resellers.
“The appointment of High Wire in North America is aligned with our strategy of utilising strategic channel partners and rapidly increasing our geographic coverage. A similar arrangement with Kordia Australia last month provides Tomizone with the same capability in A/NZ,” Simms said.
Simms added the North American market is a key pillar of the company's long-term growth plans as it is the world’s largest Wi-Fi market.
“Public Wi-Fi has become incredibly important to our multi-site chain customers and low touch delivery means much faster return on investment, so we’re excited to deliver the market-tested templates Tomizone has applied to public Wi-Fi,” High Wire president, Mark Porter, said.
“High Wire will provide Tomizone with logistics and staging, installation and engineering and ongoing management and support solutions for its products and networks in which the products reside.”
High Wire currently manages a network of engineers that covers over 95 per cent of the US population. The engineers design and deliver networks mainly from Cisco, Aruba and Ruckus.
