HubOne's Cloud-based accounting application, Modern Practice Portal, has experienced rapid growth since its launch in 2014. Over the past year, the app has attracted more than 6000 new users.
The Cloud integrator's software enables businesses to store, organise and interpret business activities via a Web-based browser instead of software on a PC.
“Since inception in 2008, HubOne set out to improve the way Australian accounting firms do business by developing a cloud solution that would save money, simplify IT processes and achieve efficiency and flexibility in the workplace to get more done, faster,” HubOne chief executive, Nick Beaugeard, said.
He said Modern Practice Portal was developed in response to an expanding gap in the market for Cloud based business management software as other Cloud-based software integrated systems such as Xero Accounting Software, Workflow Max and Microsoft Office 365, have revolutionised the way businesses use and pay for software.
“Our Modern Practice Subscription offers Australian accounting firms the ability to completely migrate to the Cloud for a fixed monthly fee per user per month. The software can be accessed from any place at any time, providing an opportunity for businesses to scale more rapidly because users can access data wherever they are from most mobile devices,” Beaugeard said.
He added that the strategic support of investment partner, Amma App investments, enabled HubOne to raise the funds that have allowed the Cloud integrator to develop the software.
