Fujitsu has inked a five-year $80 million managed infrastructure services contract with financial services provider, Link Group.
Both companies share a 10-year history.
Link Group recently acquired Superpartners that will see it upgrade its legacy system to Link’s aaspire system by December 2016.
Under the new contract, Link’s existing Western Australia business and Superpartners will be migrated to Fujitsu’s delivery model currently in place for its Eastern states business.
The delivery model under the new arrangement includes service desk, service delivery management, end-user services, network management, infrastructure support, data centre and project services.
These services will be delivered via a combined onsite, onshore and offshore model using the Fujitsu Global Delivery Centre as well as local resources.
“With the assurance of predictable IT costs delivered by this new services agreement, Link Group can better plan over the medium term,” Link Group managing director, John McMurtrie, said.
