Emerson Network Power's Robert Linsdell
Emerson Network Power has promoted Robert Linsdell as its new managing director, overseeing the business for Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to taking the top job, Linsdell was the national sales director, which has been split into geographic and vertical responsibilities. He joined the vendor in March 2011, starting out as the NSW sales manager.
His appointment follows the promotion of Gene Hayden to a new global role based out of the US, who was previously responsible for sales across APAC that included country responsibilities for A/NZ.
At Emerson Network Power, Linsdell will be responsible for developing, coordinating and executing programs for the A/NZ market.
“I am very optimistic about future growth opportunities in our channel business. In particular, I am very excited about our new partner acquisition program that now gives us a solid footprint across Australia and New Zealand, which ultimately enables us to reach out to a broader partner and reseller community,” Linsdell said in a statement.
“Additionally, the enterprise business continues to be a very important part of our business. Internet of Things(IoT) is changing the way our customers operate, which means they need IT infrastructure that is agile, scalable, but more importantly solutions that provide them a competitive advantage.”Linsdell previously worked for Morton International and Rohm and Haas (Shipley Electronic Materials) based in France.
