Insight Enterprises has launched a new Cloud marketplace, CloudShop, as a managed services offering.
According to a company statement, the offering provides aggregation, automation, management and support for SaaS and IaaS workloads and is the direct result of the company being awarded Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) accreditation.
Insight general manager, Pat Murphy, said the company’s portal was integral to the company’s Cloud strategy.
“Our portal offers an advanced dashboard creating a unified end-user experience, we see this as a significant release, integral to our Cloud strategy and a breakthrough for users. We have expanded our trusted services with a significant investment in this solution,” he said.
“We are bringing to life a mobility offering that is underpinned by Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, coupled with our licensing and services expertise – allowing Insight’s clients to purchase managed cloud solutions in a per-user, per-month construct.
“Our platform is powered by our partnership with CloudFX, leaders in the development of innovative Cloud marketplaces. Our alliance enables Insight to deliver on the promise of IT-as-a-service.”
CloudFX Group president and chief executive, Damian Crotty, said Insight had converged its deep software licensing and management experience with the Microsoft CSP program capabilities and described the result as an “unparalleled Office 365 and Azure Cloud service automation, management and billing experience.”
Insight’s Cloud marketplace currently offers three bundles designed to provide end-users varying levels of functionality for small-to-medium sized business, through to enterprise clients.
The company said new solutions will be added progressively in 2016 according to clients’ needs and transformation priorities.
