Data replication and disaster recovery company, Zerto, has recorded 300 per cent growth in the Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) and Asia Pacific, Japan (APJ) markets.
Zerto said the growth could be attributed to the explosion of Cloud computing.
The company said its business continuity software for virtualised datacentres and Cloud environments was part of its expansion strategy in A/NZ and APJ within the next five years.
Zerto has also expanded its local channel, signing 50 new partners and Cloud service providers in the A/NZ and APJ regions. This growth had led to the appointment of five new staff in A/NZ to support customers in the local market.
The company said it plans to have a headcount of 25 across APJ by June.
Zerto director of APJ, Andrew Martin, said, “We’re enabling companies to accomplish goals in their Cloud strategy that have not been possible before. We do this through software that makes it easy for organisations to move their applications, workloads and data between locations, including to and from public Cloud or specialist Cloud providers.”
