Bandwidth-on-demand service provider, Intellipath, has partnered with Australian national network provider, Nextgen, to bring a new bandwidth-on-demand service into the telco market.

Intellipath said its new flexible range is ready across the Nextgen core network and datacentres such as Metronode, NextDC and Equinix.

The service will provide access to all major Cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services, Azure and Equinix Cloud Exchange and Intellipath will give its customers on-demand bandwidth through Nextgen’s national network.

Nextgen general manager for wholesale and channel, James Veness, said allowing Intellipath to market offers delivered on Nextgen’s network through the company’s SDN, is an important part of its business strategy.

Intellipath chief operating officer, Barry Murphy, said, “Nextgen has the network reach and capabilities to support the on-demand bandwidth services being very open minded in their approach to partnering.”
