HubOne unveils Connectivity-as-a-Service for Microsoft Office 365

HubOne becomes first Australian integrator to announce the availability of Connectivity-as-a-Service.

HubOne has become the first Australian integrator to announce the availability of Connectivity-as-a-Service (CaaS), optimised for Office 365 Enterprise E5.

Revealed to ARN at Microsoft’s 2016 Australia Partner Conference in Gold Coast, the move will see HubOne partners - and their respective customers - able to access Microsoft’s latest enterprise cloud-based package coupled with Verizon’s global network infrastructure.

“The digital world opens up all sorts of exciting possibilities for Australian businesses, regardless of size, to accelerate innovation to stay relevant,” Verizon channel executive of Asia Pacific, Arran Jesson, said.

“And to this end, a robust, flexible and intelligent network remains the foundation for any business strategy.

“Many customers have already benefited from deploying Microsoft Office 365 and the cloud. The HubOne solution allows a price per user per month model, with no up-front price which scales with your business.”

Jesson said customers can now access Verizon’s enterprise grade network, with a number of HubOne’s existing accounting firm customers recently committing to deploying CaaS optimised for Office 365 E5.

In short, CaaS is designed to enable small and medium accountants across Australia scale internet connections with businesses and other cloud applications.

Built based on customer feedback, Jesson said CaaS is an update driven by the rapid move by the Australian SMB community to host IT systems in the cloud.
