Synnex Australia is partnering up with SMBiT Professionals, in a bid to help drive new value propositions and cloud solutions for members.
As an industry association representing over 280 members across Australia, SMBiT Professionals act as a conduit for individual IT business owners, service providers and vendors to collaborate on solutions specific to the needs of Australian small and medium businesses.
“Synnex is looking forward to working with SMBiT Professionals to help members expand their cloud portfolio offering and extend their services business using cloud solutions available from Synnex,” Synnex Australia and New Zealand CEO, Kee Ong, said.
“This partnership will help extend SMBiT Professional’s Members with additional services capability and reinforce Synnex’s commitment in supporting members with building a recurring business model in the cloud.”
With the Synnex Cloud Automation Platform, Ong said SMBiT Professional Members can attach hardware sales with Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-Service solutions to create their own packaged solutions.
At present, the distributor has more than 60 vendors in its solutions portfolio, including hardware, software, licensing and cloud services.
Currently, the Synnex Cloud Solution portfolio includes Barracuda Backup and Network Security, IBM SoftLayer, Rackspace, Microsoft CSP Office 365 and Azure, Udocx and scanning, Act-On digital marketing, BitTitan and Skykick migration services, Cirius secure messaging, MYOB for accounting solutions.
“This portfolio is always collectively growing,” Ong added.
Looking ahead, Ong said Synnex is working closely with cloud vendors in a range of enablement activities, providing members of SMBiT Professionals “easy access” to industry best practices, latest technologies, products and solutions that will help expand their business and drive revenue.
“Their new partner portal looks great and is shaping up to be a game changer for IT resellers and how they procure their hardware, software, licensing and cloud solutions,” SMBiT Professionals CEO, David Vidos, added.
