Hemisphere Technologies has signed an agreement to distribute secure access solutions vendor, Pulse Secure, in Australia.

Spun-off from Juniper Networks in 2014, Pulse Secure works across the three security areas of Network Access Control (NAC), SSL VPN, as well as Mobile Device Management and security (MDM).

Terms of the deal will see Hemisphere Technologies expand Pulse Secure’s reach across Australia, enabling the channel to deliver components and services surrounding its integrated secure access solutions portfolio.

“Along with a leading technology solution, we were also looking for a partnership that offers our channel dedicated lead generation and project fulfilment support,” Hemisphere Technologies managing director, Andrew Mamonitis, said.

“We are always looking for ways to grow and diversify our portfolio strategically, and our partnership with Pulse Secure will add immeasurable value to our channel.”

“We hand pick our partners with the greatest of care to ensure we are offering the best solution available in the market. We’re excited to include Pulse Secure’s Secure Access solution to our range."

Pulse Secure vice president of partner sales, Doug Erickson, said Hemisphere Technologies matched the vendors’ strategy of reaching niche markets across the country.

“We’re thrilled to add Hemisphere Technologies as a key distributor, and are certain our relationship will open new doors in the market and across specialist vertical markets," he said.

"Hemisphere Technologies is not only the right fit for our growing global community of partners, they are a leader in providing multi-layered security approaches in the region."

Hemisphere’s new vendor signing comes off the back of three other new major partnerships within the past six months, following deals with Centrify, F-Secure and Trustwave.
