Managed services provider, Brennan IT, has raised the stakes in securing 50 per cent of cloud and connectivity business, Fastrack Technology, in a move designed to establish a “symbiotic relationship”.

Together, the companies look to blend complementary skillsets, pairing Fastrack’s focus on enterprise connectivity and Microsoft consulting, with Brennan IT’s mid-market expertise in the cloud, networking and infrastructure space.

“Brennan IT has made a financial investment in Fastrack Technology with the objective of achieving positive financial returns and sharing skills and expertise,” Brennan IT chairman, Dave Stevens, said.

“Fastrack is a standalone business and the team is focused on maintaining the culture of an agile approach blended with service excellence. We see the relationship between Brennan IT and Fastrack Technology as a symbiotic one.

“We’re looking to integrate some of Fastrack Technology’s deep skills in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager that are more enterprise-focused and bring them to the mid-market, to benefit our more traditional customer base,” Stevens added.

Terms of the deal will see Fastrack Technology continue to provide the majority of its existing products and services, but also sees a narrowed focus to offer a specialised set of solutions to drive customer engagement and make it easier for businesses to procure services from the company.

As part of the agreement, Stevens will join Fastrack’s managing director, Yoni Kirsh, as a non-executive director at Fastrack Technology.

“Fastrack Technology and Brennan IT have a similar approach but complementary skill sets,” Kirsh said.

“We’re excited to have the opportunity to expand our respective businesses and co-develop processes that will bring our combined knowledge and experience to both enterprise and mid-market customers,” he added.
