Veeam has honoured its top-performing partners across the Australia and New Zealand region, with Brennan IT, Computer Systems Australia, Dimension Data and Fujitsu taking home the top awards.
Revealed at the 2016 Veeam ProPartner Awards in Sydney, Dimension Data took out the ProPartner of the Year award for Australia, with Brennan IT excelling as the Cloud & Service Provider of the Year winner.
In addition, Fujitsu took home the Enterprise ProPartner of the Year award, while Computer Systems Australia was recognised with the Rising Star ProPartner of the Year award, as Ingram Micro Australia claimed the honours in distribution.
Spanning both sides of the Tasman, the annual awards ceremony recognises those that have demonstrated success in providing availability solutions to customers, while providing expert support and knowledge, alongside ongoing product education.
“As a 100 per cent channel company, our partners are key to Veeam’s business and we want to take the time to recognise and celebrate shared success,” Veeam Software Head of Channel and Cloud A/NZ, Amaury Dutilleul-Francoeur, said.
“We have more than 2,300 Veeam ProPartners across Australia and New Zealand, and our program is strong, with 22 per cent year-over-year revenue growth across all partner levels.”
Dutilleul-Francoeur said the local region reported an increase of 36 per cent in Veeam Cloud and Service Providers (VCSP) transactions over the last financial year, via more than 1,100 service and cloud providers resulting in a 66 per cent growth in cloud revenue.
“As volumes of data generated and stored by businesses continue to grow and more organisations across the A/NZ region rely on a hybrid cloud approach to secure data and provide services to their customers,” Veeam Software Vice President of A/NZ, Don Williams, added.
“It’s our network of ProPartners that will continue to help Veeam maintain and deploy its vision of Availability for the Always-On Enterprise.
“The momentum of our cloud offerings, our expanding footprint within the enterprise market, the strength of our ProPartner program along with the commitment from our alliance partners and, our upcoming new product releases will pave the way for an even more successful 2017.”
