F5 Networks has expanded its regional channel team with appointment of former brocade executive Gabriel Breeman as vice president, partner sales and alliances, Asia Pacific (APAC).

Based in Singapore, F5 said the newly created role will see Breeman working with cross-functional leaders to strategically expand and evolve the F5 sales channels and alliance partner landscape. He will report directly to F5 senior vice president of APAC sales, Adam Judd.

Prior to joining F5, Breeman spent three years with networking company, Brocade, in its channel business. Most recently, he was senior director for partner sales in the region. Before Brocade, Breeman worked for storage vendor, SanDisk as senior director od global partner sales.

“With industries becoming increasingly application centric, many customers’ touch points – be it smart devices or social media platforms – are also following suit,” Judd said. “We see this especially in Asia Pacific’s technology landscape, where mobility and applications are expanding its reach, efficacy and convenience.

“The success stories from capitalising on these technologies that have emerged across the region are testament to how applications are transforming business models.

F5 is thrilled to welcome onboard Gabriel Breeman, who will be working very closely with the sales team to help us take advantage of these new growth opportunities and further enhance F5’s position as a leader in application delivery technology,” he added..

Breeman said partnerships with the right technology providers were critical to succeed in today’s competitive digital landscape.

“I am excited to join F5 Networks at the pinnacle of Asia Pacific’s digital transformation and I look forward to striking new collaborations to help businesses stay ahead in today’s multi-cloud world.”
