Fujitsu has extended the reach of its digital Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solution, making it available in Australia. The solution, which was initially only rolled out in Europe and Asia has now made its way to Australia and the US.
The PaaS offering, named RunMyProcess, has been introduced locally, adding on to its other cloud platforms.
According to Fujitsu, the capacity increase will help support and address the growing digital transformation needs of organisations with regional compliance requirements for data sovereignty, regulation, security and low-latency.
RunMyProcess is a native cloud platform that allows organisations to build, test, deploy and scale device-independent applications that connect digital business processes across cloud, on-premises and mobile environments.
RunMyProcess CEO, Yuji Takada, said the solution lets organisations model and streamline complex business processes while also integrating existing systems and services – whether cloud services like Office 365 or on-premises solutions such as SAP – with smartphones, tablets, PCs, wearable technology and other mobile devices.
“Since our focus has always been on solving our customers’ problems at the front line of digital transformation, we are now extending the RunMyProcess platform to all four corners of the globe, adding even more digital capability,” Takada said.
“RunMyProcess ensures that organisations can easily connect digital processes and deliver truly integrated user experiences with minimal development effort.”
According to Fujitsu A/NZ CEO, Mike Foster, the company will target a range of industries including government, defense agencies, retail, and manufacturing and utilities as well as service-oriented verticals such as financial services and healthcare with the solution.
Foster also said that the addition of a platform in Australia will increase the appeal to organisations that have strong regulatory requirements.
“RunMyProcess is an important component in our suite of offerings designed to help our customers to transform their business in the light of constant digital disruption,” he said.
“As its focus is on streamlining and digitising processes, we have had a strong level of interest from financial services organisations and government departments. Hosting of the platform in Australia strengthens our value proposition to these industries.”
RunMyProcess is available in Australia with a choice of regional data centres. Its pricing varies according to subscription.
