Wavelink has added another vendor to its healthcare industry portfolio offering, signing an Australian and New Zealand distribution deal with enterprise location and sensor technology provider CenTrak.
Headquartered in the United States, CenTrak provides a range of real-time location systems to healthcare enterprises in several regions, including North America, Asia and Europe, in addition to Australia and New Zealand.
“The addition of CenTrak to Wavelink’s portfolio is a key component of advancing our solutions offering to our channels,” Wavelink managing director Ilan Rubin said. “CenTrak’s offering addresses a wide range of health use cases, which Wavelink will integrate with our applications and product suite.
“This will provide tremendous added-value to our resellers' health offerings, which is a key element of our healthcare practice strategy.
“Wavelink is proud to be working with world-class leading technology vendors and the addition of CenTrak is an endorsement that we are attracting leading solutions to bring to our partners,” he said.
Wavelink launched a new health practice in September 2016, to bind together solutions for the local health sector.
The specialist distributor extended its healthcare market focus in May last year through a new distribution agreement with US-based healthcare technology company, Spok, for the Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) market.
That agreement was the vendor's first distribution deal in the A/NZ region and covered the vendor's alerting software, hardware, maintenance, and services.
“Spok Care Connect complements the work we are doing within the Wavelink Health Practice,” Rubin said at the time. “Our focus is to identify and deliver the clinical applications healthcare professionals need to improve patient care and provider responsiveness.”
At present, Wavelink distributes a range of products from Spectralink, Olinqua, Spok, Fortinet and Digium.
