ASI Solutions has been tasked with supporting a data analytics and cloud-based platform for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA A/NZ), representing a net new customer for the provider.

Won through a competitive tender, the agreement sees the Sydney-based technology specialists partner with HubOne and Synnex, providing supporting for Kairos, a data analytics and cloud-based tools platform.

“We’re going to be actively working with CA A/NZ to add value to their membership which represents a huge opportunity for our business,” said Nathan Lowe, managing director of ASI Solutions, when speaking to ARN.

“The platform contains a portion of HubOne’s connected practice which is built in, alongside part of the Microsoft suite through Office 365 Enterprise.

“There’s different tiered levels for what members can procure through the portal. This represents a real consortium of products that have been built into the solution to provide data analytics and business intelligence for accountants.”

From a technology perspective, the Kairos platform is designed to help public practices analyse and use data more efficiently.

“We’re stoked to be working with ASI Solutions,” Nick Beaugeard, CEO of HubOne told ARN. “This allows us to focus on our strengths which is developing great software, and ASI can focus on their strengths around managed services.”

As a result, ASI Solutions is now also part of the CA A/NZ Affinity Members’ Programme, providing managed services across hardware and software solutions.

“One aspect of the deal involves the Kairos platform,” explained Lowe. “The extra opportunity is around coming on board as a dedicated IT partner which allows members to engage ASI as part of their IT strategy.”

With operations on both sides of the Tasman, CA A/NZ is a professional association of business and finance leaders across the region.

“The decision to partner with ASI is part of our strategy of providing more value to members, and this includes delivering our support services as effectively and efficiently as possible,” said Mike Rice, group executive member at CA A/NZ.

“It means partnering where it makes sense to reduce costs and tap into industry expertise.

“Kairos users will benefit from the expertise of an ICT industry leader with more than 30 years’ experience, 120 staff and 250 contracted IT professionals across Australia and New Zealand.”

CA ANZ initially rolled out Kairos in 2016 in response to member requirements, with plans now in place to handover responsibility to ASI.

“We are excited to now be handing the reins to ASI Solutions, which is better equipped to ensure it remains a fit for purpose digital solution,” Rice added.
