Alloys signs distribution deal with Grandstream

Unified communications vendor looks for local market growth

Australian distributor Alloys has signed a national distribution deal with American unified communications (UC)vendor Grandstream.

Through the partnership, Grandstream said it hopes to gain “market growth” in Australia. Specifically, the vendor highlighted Alloys' showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, plus multi-state warehouses.

Alloys, which claims to provide non-traditional distribution, also offers in-house training, technical, sales and marketing support to SME resellers.

Founded in 2002, the vendor specialises in providing session initiation protocol (SIP) UC solutions for small and medium enterprises (SME).

“We see Alloys as an ideal additional distribution partner to further expand our presence in Australia through their established reseller channel across the automation, security and IP telephony market,” said Ben Miall, Grandstream national sales manager of Australia.

The business currently has more than 30 brands signed to its distribution channel, including Epson and Honeywell.

“We are excited about this new partnership with Grandstream,” Alloys business manager Andrew Rubin said. “We have seen an increased popularity of IP phones and VoIP systems over the last several years and we believe that the combination of our distribution model with Grandstream’s VoIP solutions will bring significant value to this market.”
