IntegrationWorks has opened a new office in Brisbane, as the New Zealand-headquartered system integrator responds to continuous growth across Australia.

In 2014, IntegrationWorks employed two staff in Australia, growing that number to 54 within the space of five years, with more than 100 employees in total.

The Brisbane office, which was officially opened in February, sits 35 people.

"The new Brisbane office space demonstrates our long-term commitment to businesses and enterprises across the Eastern Seaboard who require specialist integration and middleware capabilities for their environments," said Ian Richards, managing director of Australia at IntegrationWorks.

"At this stage we’re focused on Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra given our existing specialist expertise in these markets. Moving forward, we’ll be approaching Melbourne and solidifying our teams and presence in other cities."

IntegrationWorks has projects running across the Queensland and Canberra public sector and in the Sydney private sector.

From a technology perspective, key vendors include Apigee, BoxChain, CA Technologies, Dell Boomi and IBM, in addition to MuleSoft, Oracle, OutSystems, Red Hat and WSO2.

The business also joined forces with specialist vendor Axway in November 2018, in a move designed to provide hybrid integration offerings to customers across Australia and New Zealand.

As reported by ARN, the provider will offer connected systems, applications and devices in a hybrid integration model spanning multiple cloud environments.

"We’re growing fast and working hard to increase our numbers to become Australia’s number one technology integration service provider across a vendor agnostic environment," Richards added. "We plan with that, to contribute to strong job growth and skills uplift across these major cities."

IntegrationWorks has offices in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in Australia, Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand and in London in the UK.
