Brisbane-based data centre and cloud services directory provider, Cloudscene has appointed Belle Lajoie as its CEO in an effort to help lead the startup through its next growth phase.
Lajoie will start in her new role on 1 May, and will be responsible for driving the expansion of the product suite, accelerate user growth and engagement and implement a series of commercial opportunities.
She has previously played an important role in the growth and commercial success in some major technology startups including NextDC and was recently the global chief commercial officer for Megaport.
Lajoie said she has been an avid user and supporter of Cloudscene since its inception.
“The team has a vision to build a neutral and trusted exchange platform for cloud and connectivity services. I’m thrilled to now lead the journey towards realising that vision,” added Lajoie.

“I am honoured to have someone with Belle’s deep industry knowledge and expertise leading the team to focus on taking Cloudscene to the next level,” Slattery said in a statement.
Cloudscene interim general manager, Renee Harper will also be taking up a new position as vice president of marketing and engagement. Harper has previously held a number lead marketing roles with companies such as Zuuse, A2K Technologies and CSG International.
